As a WordPress Web Designer Intern, you’ll assist in building and designing WordPress websites under the guidance of senior designers/developers. You’ll gain hands-on experience in responsive design, theme customization, UI/UX best practices, and working with client requirements.
Job Responsibility
- Assist in designing and implementing WordPress websites using themes/plugins.
- Customize themes, adjust layouts, work with CSS/HTML to match design mockups.
- Help ensure sites are responsive and user-friendly on different devices.
- Support site maintenance: updates, fixes, small content changes.
- Keep design files and code organized.
- Make changes and revisions based on feedback and usability testing.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS; ability to tweak designs.
- Strong willingness to learn, take direction, and accept feedback.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Portfolio or examples of personal/academic website design work is a plus.
